How Does Nexavar Work? part one

signaling pathways 1

Nexavar works along multiple signaling pathways to block cell proliferation and tumor angiogenesis.Nexavar blocks the receptor tyrosine kinases VEGFR (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor) and PDGFR (Platelet Derived Growth Factor Receptor) and the RAF serine/threonine kinases along the RAF/MEK/ERK pathway

signaling pathways 2

signal from outside and inside the cells are sent to the nucleus in a process called signal transduction

nexavar inhibit this process

signaling pathways 3

the RAS protein is a key component of several signal transduction pathways invloved in cellular death .RAS like a switch that transmits external signal by a pathway called MAP kinase pathway

signaling pathways 4

the MAP kinase pathway consists of three kinases transmit signals
